Seth Nightroad Progress so far

I’m really excited. The project is taking shape and I’m really liking the progress. I have about 35% of the project finished, but once I get couple of details like embroidery done it will all come together really fast.

One of my prop is almost done, the breast plate is done (need to figure out how to attach it), and the white skirt is done.

Things to do:
~embroider the hat, top, skirt, sleeves
~make the lacy sleeves
~make the hat
~collar
~gloves
~shoes
~prop pieces (crown on hat, ankle brace, upper arm brace, 2 weapons)
~veil.

Wedding ~

I finally had the chance to go through my wedding photos and they all turned out beautifully. I bravely decided to design and make my own dress and I’m really happy with the way it turned out. The facinator I got as a present on the day was perfect to finish off the look! The matching necklace and bracelet was made by Diva Beads and I my bouquet was put together by my friend as a wedding gift. Everything went beautifully and I have many memories from it :3

Mil Jacket Commission Done!

Mil is a character from Moe Moe Daisensou Gendaiban. The client only needed the short jacket without the patches. The fur collar and cuffs were sewn completely by hand. It was the best method to lessen the bulk and have it sit well on the costume. I’m very happy with the results and i’m starting the next commission right away. I hope to have it done ASAP.

Getting these projects done really boosts my mood and I can’t wait to keep going!

Wow! Thank you all for commissioning me!

I’m almost all booked up till July! I just have to confirm one more commission! I honestly didn’t expect so much response to my advertisement. I will continue to take in requests but it will have to be for halloween costumes and fall and winter cons. This has been a huge boost to my confidence and confirmation that I’m heading towards the right direction.

I just hope I booked myself properly so that I get proper amounts of breaks and time to work on my own projects. I’m pretty sure I did but I think this year is going to be a huge learning curve.

Pandora Hearts, Alice coat and bow commission

I’m almost done this commission. I just need to add the sleeve cuffs and its done!
My favorite parts are the volume of the coat and the appliqué diamonds.
I’m really linking the way it turned out and this gets me pumped up for the next project!

One commission done, one more to go and WEDDING DRESS

I’m finally done Jocelyn and Michelle’s brides maid dresses.
I hope to get pics of the bridal party after their wedding to post here.

I have one small commission to do before I leave Vancouver for my wedding in the Beginning of October.
I will have more info on that soon.

My wedding dress is coming along, but not everything is what I want it to be so far.
But I still have time to make the changes I want, and I should have it done fairly soon.
I’ve decided not to post too much on my progresses at this time because of time restraints.
I’m hoping to focus on my wedding till it’s all over. Very close to being ready.

Brides Maid Dress for Michele & Jocelyn’s Wedding

Just finishing up the mock ups for the brides maid dress commissions for Michel & Jocelyn’s wedding. So far it’s working out very well, and hope that fitting will go well too. Once the fitting is done, these mock up dress will be used as patterns to make the actual dresses.

I should have at least one dress completed tomorrow with more pictures.

Going to Anime North 2012

I’ve confirmed that I will be attending Anime North 2012.

I had lots of fun last year and I can’t wait to go back! I’ve made some great friends and can’t wait to seem them again too.
I’m going to be working on Seth from Trinity Blood  for Anime North. It’s one of my dream cosplays and I can’t wait to get started.
